Rizikové faktory ovlivňující zpracování nového POPD Dolu Bílina

Abstract

The surface mining of coal by large scale quarry technology under the conditions of the Northern Bohemian Coal Basin has its specific conditions, which result mainly from the geological development of this territory. In assessing any risks associated with the opening and operation of each surface coal mine, it is always necessary to respect and take into account the fact that any coal sedimentation was and is automatically conditioned by our geological anomalous development. Continued sedimentation was additionally in the overburden of coal seams usually accompanied by irregular alternation of clay and sandy soils, which due to the different mechanical and hydraulic properties of these sediments, in the processing of the new POPD, caused considerable complications in the form of risk factors limiting mining solutions.
