Abstract
This thesis is focused on creation of digital terrain model which is generated from
taken RGB photos using of terrestrial photogrammetry. It was important to choose a suitable
area with optimal characteristics for applied method evaluation. A part of this thesis is also
assembly of own photography system for image acquisition. Practical side of this thesis has
two main parts, which are acquisition of image and ground control points position. and then
their processing with use of software Agisoft PhotoScan with the purpose to create digital
terrain model of photographed area. Then this model is visually evaluated and statistically
compared to official elevation data which is DMR 5G created by ČÚZK. The resulting mean
difference of values between these models is 0.20 m. The highest positive difference was the
value 0,75 m, on the other hand, the highest negative difference was 1.83 m.
