Abstract

This work ranges to practical realization of independently guided system, intended for automatic load transfer. This means a robot with aluminous construction, jacketed in plastic cover, driven by couple of electromotive units. Basic part of the robot consists of sensors system to assure safety operation, to follow the trajectory and to identify a transported load. Controls unit is a programmable logical controller, X20 series, made by Bernecker + Rainer Corporation. The whole system is powered by just one lead battery and voltage conversions for feeding PLC and other peripheries caters two voltage converters. The communication with the superior system is made by wireless network. The truck identification is ensured by tensometric gravity module and by one of the couple radio control identity card readers, placed in rear robot’s part. Path detection is ensured by set of infrared reflective sensors and by the second radio frequency identity card reader.
