Zhodnocení intenzifikace čistírny odpadních vod Kašava

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the Kašava’s wastewater treatment plant. As a part of the project named „Intensification and modernisation of Kašava wastewater treatment plant“, the plant underwent reconstruction, which dealed with obsolete technologies, increasing the capacity of biological and mechanical treatment part of the plant. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the principles of wastewater treatment process including relevant legislation and it also desribes the types of wastewater and indicators of their pollution. There is also desribed the technological line of the Kašava wastewater treatment plant before and after the reconstruction together with the area of where is the plant situated. The practical part of the thesis is a comprehensive evaluation of intensification, which is reviewed from different aspects, such as progress of wastewater treatment from very beggining of 2016 until the end of 2021, amount of waste produced by the plant or hydraulic stress of the plant. There are also evaluated the aspects connected to operational actions at wastewater treatment plant.
