Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with problematic of design of steel joint exposed to fire. There are designed and assessed selected joints of steel construction, first at normal temperature, then at higher temperatures without the use of fire protection and lastly assassement of joints at higher temperature with the use of fire protection, specifically intumescent paint. The results of calculations are compared in the end of thesis.
