Abstract

The bachelor's thesis characterizes the Regional Policy of the European Union, which is in the period 2007 - 2013 and in the period 2014 - 2020 the ideal medium that can be used for Czech regions to approach their level to advanced countries of Western Europe. The bachelor's thesis deals with the Operational Programme Environment, which is a means to finance specific projects to improve the environment. In the bachelor's thesis is described the process of approval of the application for co-financing from the European Union. Significant emphasis is placed on the elaboration of the project "Jezernice - sewerage and wastewater treatment plants" and complete the application in an electronic environment Bene-fill. This project is one of many examples of the use of regional policy of the European Union under the Operational Programme Environment.
