Abstract

The Introduction to my Bachelor thesis is the overview of aerial appliances used in the Czech Republic and abroad. I provide description of aerial appliances used by the Fire and Rescue Service (HZS) in the Ústí Region, and compare its condition with the condition of aerial appliances generally used in the Czech Republic. In the next section, I deal with issues related to financing the CR HZS from own resources, by a subsidy from Regional Authorities, or from the European Union funds. Then, I define the fundamental funds of the European Union, basic principles and policies of the Community, single strategic documents, and single terms and notions. I focus on Operational Programmes of the European Union suitable for financing the acquisition of aerial appliances. In the last section of my thesis, I provide description of the so-called "project cycle" (The process starting with elaborating the appropriate application, and ending with the project implementation). The Conclusion of my thesis is the detailed description of a project plan aimed at purchasing new aerial appliances for the Teplice Territorial Division HZS.
