Mapové podklady lesních ploch pro potřeby jednotek požární ochrany

Abstract

This thesis deals with the issue of map data for forest areas for the needs of fire protection units, particularly during operations in forest environments. Due to the complexity of interventions in difficult-to-access terrain, emphasis is placed on the availability of high-quality and up-to-date map information that supports the decision-making process of the incident commander. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the existing map applications used by the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and to assess their usability in operations within forest areas. The thesis describes the basic characteristics of forest environments, the legislative framework, and the principles of digital maps and geographic information systems. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the comparison of selected map applications and the verification of their usability in a model scenario. Based on the conducted multicriteria analysis and a model exercise, recommendations are formulated for the modification of existing systems to ensure their effective use directly at the incident site via mobile devices.
