Migrace Service Fabric projektového řešení do Kubernetes a Dapr technologie

Abstract

This bachelor thesis addresses the migration of an existing project solution from the Microsoft Azure Service Fabric platform to Kubernetes with the Dapr (Distributed Application Runtime) technology. The thesis analyzes the architecture of the source system consisting of 24 services (10 stateless watchers, 12 actor services, API, and Manager), proposes a migration strategy divided into six phases, and identifies deterministic migration steps that can be automated through a dedicated tool. The implementation part documents specific source code transformations, containerization, Kubernetes manifest configuration, and Dapr component setup. The result is a functional prototype of the migrated system deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service and a specification of a migration tool for automating repetitive transformations.
