ABSTRACT Coufal, R. Possibility of determination of activation energy of Al-alloy in hot forming. Ostrava: Department of Material Forming, VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava, 2017. 40 s. Bachelor thesis, head: Ing, Rostislav Kawulok, Ph.D. The bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of determination of activation energy in hot forming of aluminum alloy AlMg4,5Mn0,7. Uniaxial compression tests were ranged between 360 – 500 °C and strain rate of 0,3 – 30 s-1 using the Gleeble plastometer. The activation energy in hot forming was calculate in two ways in program ENERGY 4.0 and the linearization of the power function with the constant n from Unistat. This value was used to build mathematical models describing maximum flow stress and kinetics of dynamic recrystalization of this alloy in hot forming.
