Abstract
This diploma thesis describes conventional and modern technologies for waste water treatment and sludge separation in automotive industry. Specifically describes the technologies used in the automotive industry with a focus on the coating process. The theoretical part describes the processes of clarification and flotation, processes used in the treatment of parts in paint shops and special processes that can be used in the future for sludge treatment in the automotive industry. The following describes the types of waste water by type of industry. Attention is paid mainly to the technology of wastewater treatment by coagulation, flocculation and flotation. In the experimental part, the thesis deals with the optimization of the paint shop separation process in Mošnov using the organic coagulation agent NALCO PK9517. Using a coagulation test during the manufacturing process, it was found that NALCO PK9517 is not a suitable alternative to NALCO PK9516 under these conditions.
