Abstract

The main aim of this thesis is to clarify problems of consumer protection in the European Union and the Czech Republic and online stores and subsequent evaluation of the survey of respondent`s awareness of consumer protection. The content of this thesis is focused on the consumer protection in the European Union and the Czech Republic and online stores. The theoretical part consists basis of consumer protection in the EU and the Czech Republic, its development, legislation and institutions responsible for cosumer protection. The practical part contains the survey of respondent`s awareness of consumer protection, their rights in connection with online stores and the subsequent evaluation including recommendation.
