Abstract

The dissertation deals with the explosion protection of brown coal preparation plants which fall under the superintendence of the State Mining Authority. The introductory section characterizes the risk of explosion of brown coal preparation plants and fire technical characteristics, technical and safety parameters. In the next section compiles the relevant applicable legislation and then examining the possible types of ignition sources of ignition. The following measures for the suppression of dust, description of measuring operating conditions arising in the pipeline dedusting equipment and coal bunkers. In the penultimate section deals with anti-explosion protection, which lists both the kind and the pros and cons of different systems. The final part of the thesis is dedicated to economic assessment of the proposed measures.
