Abstract
The work aims to create software to compare and analyse pulse oximetry data measured by different types of sensors on various body parts. It is divided into three parts, where the first part focuses on explaining basic theoretical notions, the second part focuses on the design of measurement hardware complex, description of software functions and explanation of data processing and projection algorithm, and the third part, in which the regression analysis was used and which contains statistically processed data.
The work was realised with Matlab®2011 software, in which measured data were processed. Subsequently, algorithm allowing for calculation of pulse wave delay was used. The software also allows for signal analysis: amplitude and phase spectrum, power spectral density, and Fourier transform. In the medical analysis part, the software also provides user with detailed information about heart rate, graph of heart rate time series and others. Graphical user interface allows for easy manipulation with the software. Also the video tutorial to help understand basic functions of the software was used. In the last part of work, measured data are analysed in Statgraphics Plus software.
During the work, information was drawn primarily from various sources, including specialized books and Internet resources (online encyclopedia, articles...).
