Možnosti rozšíření kompetencí studentů vybraného oboru

Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of soft, professional, and digital competences among students of Management and Sports Management at the Faculty of Economics, VŠB-TUO, and explores possibilities for their further development. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part defines key concepts related to competences, their typology, development, and assessment, and introduces competence models including the National System of Occupations framework. The practical part is based on the results of a questionnaire survey conducted among students and companies, assessing both the level of students' self-evaluation of competences and their attitudes towards internships as a tool for professional growth. Based on the findings, the thesis offers proposals and recommendations to better support competence development during university studies.
