Význam Rozvojových cílů tisíciletí a jejich plnění v rozvojových regionech světa

Abstract

This thesis describes the Millennium Development Goals and the success of the implementation of the three selected targets in different developing regions of the world - in Africa, Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean. The Millennium Development Goals represent a very ambitious plan which aims to eradicate poverty by 2015 as well as problems related to it and by that ensure the right to live the good life to all people. The aim of this thesis is to characterize the distribution of the global economy, focusing on the developing regions with all their main characteristics (demographic, geographic and economic), and causes inhibiting their development, to approximate the historical formation as well as individual MDGs and evaluate the success of the implementation of the three selected goals from their inception to the present.
