Abstract
In this study, design of intelligent building installation with KNX components was investigated. To perform the task, designing system ePLAN Electric P8 was used and all work was done in accordance to relevant standards and regulations. An approach to the study was based on theoretical and practical experiences, gained during my internship in a company Trimr s.r.o., where a technical laboratory, established in cooperation with VSB - Technical University of Ostrava was proposed, in order of KNX components testing. In the laboratory, a light control system based on a fixed level of light intensity was investigated and measured. Hence, it was found that due to the light control system application, certain energy saving was reached. In Eplan Electric P8 a pilot project of a bus system in a family house was therefore carried out and potential implementation of the light control system analysed, in purpose of further use by the company Trimr s.r.o.
