Abstract

In my Thesis I decided to focus on the Inventory Management in a Production Company. I feel it is a very important management factor under current circumstances of the World Economic Crisis. By effective Inventory Management every Company can essentially improve it's Cash Flow and Bottom line. First of all I theoretically explained importance and influence of Inventory Management on Financial aspect of the Company and then described Inventory Management methods used for it's profitability. Afterward I analyzed Inventory progression, Inventory structure and Logistical Indicators for year 2008 and 2009 in the chosen Company. Fulfillment of Logistical Targets is directly linked to proper Inventory Management. Therefore it is very important to pay maximum attention to it. Based on analytical results my recommendations include methods of Purchase, Production and Sales Synchronization which should help in establishing a sucessful Inventory Management. My target was to completely analyze Inventory Management in the Production Company for the year 2008 and 2009 and to provide positive recommendations which should lead towards better financial viability of the Company in year 2010.
