Abstract

The final thesis deals with the creation of the electronic attendance system for small and medium companies. The first part describes the current market situation relating to the attendance systems including their strength and weakness analyses. The business model situation of the company implementing this system is mentioned in the following part of this thesis. The list of requirements for the forthcoming system is created based on the company requests and results of the attendance system analysis. The objective of the thesis is the creation of the complex attendance system working with all important aspects. The system supports a wide range of extensions and provides abundant outputs. The software consists of two applications used for the data management and the arrival/departure registration. The simple application is created for the TCP server communication. The user guide and two files with starting and illustrative data are enclosed.
