Abstract

This thesis deals with fire and safety devices and their interaction in large industrial buildings. The first part describes the basic principles of fire safety design of buildings and even in relation to the need for installation of fire and safety devices. In the introductory section also contains basic operational principles of fire and safety devices. This is followed by a significant part of this thesis, in which the simulation models tested the functionality and interaction of fire and safety devices. Validation is performed on the proposed large industrial hall at selected conditions.
