Abstract

Diploma thesis focuses on the accessibility of public spaces and pedestrian routes leading to selected buildings of the Prague City Gallery. The thesis develops a route on the territory of the Old Town and New Town districts, the aim of the thesis is to map the current state of accessibility of public spaces and walking routes for people with reduced mobility from major public transport stops to the entrances of selected buildings. To this end, a survey and analysis of the public spaces and pedestrian routes in question was carried out, including photographic documentation. The design section focuses on the use of recommended practices to address the bottlenecks.
