Využití finanční analýzy pro zhodnocení ekonomické situace podniku

Abstract

The main objective of this bachelor thesis is a financial analysis and its use for assessing economic situation of a company. Financial analysis uses various methods to convert company data into information and provide the user their practical meaning. The aim of this bachelor thesis is using the methods of financial analysis to assess and describe the overall financial situation of the company from 2003 to 2012. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part in which is defined the concept of financial analysis, its basic objectives, information sources methods and basic indicators. In the thesis the methods of horizontal and vertical analysis, analysis of relative indicators and predictive models are used. The practical part contains a brief description of the company and financial analysis carried out on the basis of methodologies and indicators set out in the theoretical part. The practical part also includes suggestions and recommendations imply from the financial analysis. Whole work is concluded by a final summary.
