Abstract

Housing is very important to everyone and therefore I consider the issue of its financing as an inevitable matter that almost all of us must deal with. Mortgage is one of possible means of financing. Therefore the theme of my thesis is: “The banking products on the Czech market focusing on mortgages.” The aim of the thesis is to introduce mortgages and present selected banks in the Czech market. I also compare mortgages offered by the banks to various applicants. In the practical part, I do the analysis with the aim to find out what mortgage would be the most advantageous for a potential client. The thesis has been written in a way so that it is helpful for ordinary people who want to get acquainted with this topic.
