Nová obec v podmínkách Slovenské republiky

Abstract

The aim of my thesis is the characterization and ensuring of functioning government according to selected financial and governance parameters in a newly established municipality. I chose Štitáre municipality by way of an example. The results were obtained from analysis of the documents, relevant laws and interviews with the responsible person coming from the new municipality. The theoretical part is based on theoretical assumptions and the definitions of municipal government. The practical part is devoted to the characterization of the newly established municipality and implemented to the object of my thesis.
