Abstract
This thesis analyzes the trends in air quality in the in the Moravian-Silesian region. In the past few years, air quality and protect the often discussed topic. Industrial Agglomeration Moravian region belongs to one of the most affected areas of the Czech Republic and is one of the leading places in the ranking of poor air quality.
At work I was engaged in the development of air pollution and emissions of pollutants in selected areas of the Region. Preferably, I focused on the development of air pollution particulate matter PM10, which are a big problem in this area. Next I looked at the effectiveness of the measures to improve air quality.
The result of this work is the finding that the negative trend in exceedance of emission and air pollution levels persist. Defined measures to improve air quality in the short and medium term makes little difference to the improved air quality. Many of the planned measures would be costly and their implementation is planned over a time horizon of 10-15 years.
