Získávání a výběr zaměstnanců ve vybrané organizaci

Abstract

The process of recruitment and selection of employees is one of the key activities of every organization. Proper understanding and correct application of the special methods lead to increasing effectiveness of the whole organizational process as well as to financial benefits. A selection of technical-economic employees is based on job interviews during which applicants are making an impression on their future co-workers and co-leaders. Only the correct procedure, which is used during recruitment and selection, can help the organization to choose and than employ those applicants who best fulfil its requirements. I have chosen this topic because I am very interested in the issues connected with personnel department activities. Especially nowadays when the economic situation is rather unstable the readiness of candidates to pass interviews for admission is very important. In the Czech Republic there is a high level of unemployed people and therefore a large number of applicants per a job. To be well prepared is the clue to applicant’s success. The aim of this thesis was the theoretical and practical analysis of the process of recruitment and selection of employees. In the practical task I cooperated with the organization called CfD Research, s.r.o. where I analyzed the process of recruitment and selection. According to results from questionnaires, I tried to remove the shortcomings by my recommendations and proposals.
