Abstract

The thesis is focused on oil production methods, which are used for crude oil recovery in oil industry. The first part provides a basic information about this commodity, including the theory of the origin and its sorting options. The next part treats a complete overview of separate categories of oil recovery processes, with the emphasis on the enhanced oil recovery techniques. The third part deals with the new technological advances, either the ones that are already succesful in the field or the ones that showing a good potential for the future application. In the last part also the new oil enhanced oil recovery methods are evaluated.
