Abstract
This bachelor thesis is focused on design and assessment of reinforced concrete structural elements according to the applicable standards, particularly ČSN EN 1992-1-1. The aim of this thesis is to design and assess selected elements of the load-bearing frame structure of a chosen building. The manual design of reinforcement is compared with the results obtained using SCIA Engineer software, in which the spatial model of the building was created. Based on the calculations, the assessed elements meet both ultimate limit states. In general, it can be stated that for a reliable and responsible structural assessment, calculations in software should be verified through manual calculations. Drawing documentation of designed elements is included.
