Kritéria katodické ochrany a jejich využití proti korozi na VTL plynovodech ve společnosti GasNet

Abstract

The thesis deals with the corrosion protection of VTL (high pressure) pipelines at GasNet, which is necessary to minimize the risk of corrosion damage to the pipeline. Cathode protection is one of the main methods used by GasNet to protect against corrosion. In the theoretical part, materials for pipelines and their corrosion protection are described, outlining the criteria for cathodic protection on pipelines with specific examples of its use. In practical part, research will be carried out on the selected pipeline, which should show how the above criteria will be applied in practice and whether the effectiveness of protection is effective in combating corrosion. An evaluation will then be carried out with suggestions for improvement.
