Abstract

The topic of this thesis is the structural assessment of the existing technological steel structures, which provide transport and processing of limestone in an industrial complex of LB CEMIX, s. r. o. The thesis is based on an existing structures‘ project documentation and an expertise evaluating present technical condition of the structures. It was necessary to redesign the construction to meet the valid Europian standards‘ requirements. The thesis includes structural analysis, assessment of particular design’s options and appraisal of results. The content of the thesis is also a 3D model of the steel structures, created in Tekla Structures, and drawing documentation.
