Vzdálenost migračních pohybů v České republice

Abstract

My work named Distance of migration movements in the Czech Republic. The work deals with the development of migration distances during selected time periods in the area of the Czech Republic. The opening part of the work is dedicated to the general issue of migration and the characteristics of acquired demographic data in the Czech Republic. The analyses of migration distances from the year 1991 until 2010 are divided into two parts. The first analysis describes migration distances based on the area (to / from the specific regional district). Distances to/ from regions in the Czech Republic as well as distances to/ from regions in the Moravian-Silesian Region have also been observed. The second part is focused on the development of migration distances according to selected demographic factors such as gender and age, and the visualisation of this development. The main aim of the work is to describe the development of changes of migration distances using special tools to analyse and visualise the migration data by the means of geographical information systems.
