Současnost a budoucnost budování geoparků v tuzemsku a jejich význam

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce má za cíl seznámit jejího čtenáře s důvody budování světových i tuzemských geoparků, jejich stručné představení a jejich stručný geologický popis. Teoretická část je věnována vzniku prvních geoparků v Evropě a následně i světové síti geoparků UNESCO. Zmíněny jsou také národní geoparky České republiky a jejich lokace. Dále jsou zde popsána území, která usilují o zařazení mezi národní geoparky. V praktické části je návrh pro eventuálně možný geopark na novém území. Jsou představeny vytipované montanistické objekty spojené především s důlní činností na Ostravsku a geologické objekty a lokality, jež mají velký turistický potenciál pro navrhovanou oblast.

This bachelor thesis aims to acquaint its reader with the reasons for building world and domestic geoparks, their brief introduction and their short geological description. The theoretical part is devoted to the origin of first geoparks in Europe and consequently to the world network of UNESCO geoparks. Also there are mentioned national geoparks in the Czech Republic and their location. Further there are described territiries that seek to be included among the national geoparks. In the practical part there is proposal for eventually possible geopark in the new territory. There are presented montanistics objects connected mainly with mining activities in the Ostrava region and geological objects and sites that have great potential for tourism at the proposed area.
