Hodnocení výkonnosti vybraného podniku

Abstract

The bachelor thesis evaluates the efficiency of a selected company using the traditional methods of analysis, finds out the abnormalities, identifies the main cause of unwelcome development and suggests the corrective action. The selected company is called Bytprům, výrobní družstvo v Ostravě, which was founded in 1920. Since 1996 the company has had long-term financial problems, which led ultimately to its bankruptcy. The equity rose unexpectedly during the monitored period thanks to successfull lawsuit of real estate where the companys main headquarters was based. It had a positive effect on all relevant indicators. The final evaluation of efficiency was only marginally affected by this event.
