Inovace služeb městských knihoven v České republice

Abstract

Cílem diplomové práce je zaprvé posoudit vliv rozšiřující se nabídky služeb a informačních technologií na činnost veřejných knihoven v České republice a zadruhé analyzovat a zhodnotit hospodaření Knihovny města Ostravy, Městské knihovny Nový Jičín, Knihovny města Fulnek a Městské knihovny Klimkovice v letech 2008 – 2012. Práce se zabývá knihovnictvím na území České republiky, jeho modernizačními prvky a vlivem rozšiřující se nabídky služeb a informačních technologií na činnost knihoven v České republice. Je zde popsán historický vývoj knihovnictví ve světě a na území České republiky, který probíhal po celá staletí a jehož výsledkem je na území České republiky existence jedné z nejhustších sítí knihoven v rámci členských států Evropské unie. Systém knihoven v ČR je vymezen dle knihovního zákona č. 257/2001 Sb., stejně jako zřizovatelé a financování knihoven. Řešena je zde rozšiřující se nabídka služeb knihoven, automatizace knihovnických procesů, v jejímž důsledku došlo k internetizaci knihoven a umožnění digitalizačních procesů, dále sebehodnocení knihoven v rámci projektu „Benchmarking knihoven“ a inovační způsoby zpřístupňování knihovnických služeb. Uvedeny jsou také instituce, které hrají v knihovnictví významnou roli, jak na národní, tak mezinárodní úrovni. Součástí této práce jsou také výsledky průzkumu veřejného mínění o službách knihoven v České republice, které jsou podrobněji analyzovány. Praktická část práce se zabývá konkrétními městskými knihovnami, jejich hospodařením, návštěvností a službami, které poskytují. Řešenými knihovnami jsou Knihovna města Ostravy, Městská knihovna Nový Jičín, Knihovna města Fulnek a Městská knihovna Klimkovice. Tato práce je tvořena 6 kapitolami a přílohovou částí, která obsahuje souhrnné údaje, z nichž je v textu vycházeno, a také informace, na které je v textu odkazováno.

The aim of the Diploma Thesis is the first to assess the effect of expanding the offer services and information technology at the activity of public libraries in the Czech Republic and the secondly perform analyse and evaluation of economic page of City Library of Ostrava, City Library of Novy Jicin, Library of the Fulnek City and City Library of Klimkovice in the years 2008 - 2012. The work deals with a librarianship in the Czech Republic, the modernization of its elements and the effects an expansion offer of services and information technology on the activities of libraries in the Czech Republic. Is a described here the historical development of the librarianship in the world and in the Czech Republic, which ran over the centuries and which have in the Czech Republic result the existence of one the densest networks of libraries within the Member States of the European Union. System of libraries in the Czech Republic is defined by the Law of Library No. 257/2001 Collection, as well as founders of library and library funding. Is a solved here a growing offer of library services, automation of library processes, which led to the internetisation of Libraries and allow the digitization process, as well as a self-assessment of libraries in the project "Benchmarking of Libraries" and innovative ways to access library services. Listed are also institutions, which play an important role in library science, both at national and international level. Part of this work is the results of a survey of public opinion on services of the libraries in the Czech Republic, which are analysed in detail. The practical part deals with the particular city libraries, their economy, visit rate and the services, they provide. Solved libraries are the Library of Ostrava City, the City Library of Novy Jicin, the Library of Fulnek City, the City Library of Klimkovice. This work consists of six chapters and the attachments, which contains summary data, from which is in the text considered, and also the information which are references in the text.
