Abstract

The goal of this paper is a historical review of developement of radio receiver, software receiver also to list software aplications used by software receiver, fundamentals principles of cognitive receiver and systems in which it works. There are conceptions and properties of radio receiver, function of software receiver, list of aplications used by software receiver, principles, functions, properties and systems of cognitive receiver described. For each software aplication there is a short description of functions, support, specific properties and there are examples to these aplications attached.
