Problematika regenerace Brownfields a možnosti jejich financování z evropských fondů

Abstract

The regeneration of Brownfield’s problems at common level is processed in this diploma paper, with focus to the Czech Republic and examples from foreign countries as well. The first part of work is focused to comparing of definitions and single kinds of Brownfield’s and the SWOT analysis of Brownfield’s use versus Greenfield’s use as well. The number of Brownfield’s is still rising up, also because of present economy crisis, and it will be rising all the time, because for investors is more simple and more attractive to realize their plans on the new locality. In the following part of work is described example of regeneration of one Brownfield in Usti nad Labem including variant solutions. Analysis of possibilities of Brownfield’s regeneration funding from EU funds is connected to this part. There is possible to utilize financial resources to revitalization of Brownfield’s from Structural funds and from Cohesion fund after the entry of Czech Republic to the European Union.
