Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the design and production of an axle for a prototype vehicle developed at our faculty. The axle is mainly based on the design and construction solutions made in the past on an existing vehicle. The introductory part of the thesis summarizes the introduction to the overall problems of welded axles, welded axle manufacturing technology, materials used, manufacturing methods and welding technology. The second part deals with the manufacturing process and the production of the axle element of the specific prototype car, the welding technologies used and the protection of the finished parts from external natural influences.
