Abstract

This thesis deals with waste management in Power Plant Třebovice belongs to the company Veolia Energy ČR, a.s. (next only Veolia Energy ČR). The introduction presents the company's operation. In addition, in my thesis, I devote to environmental performance of the company and the system of the waste management. In the conclusion is evaluated the waste management system in the Power Plant Třebovice. Environmental profile of Veolia Energy ČR points to the considerable know-how to reduce the amount of CO2 emissions produced by using biofuels and so-called cogeneration of heat and electricity. The main chapters of the thesis is devoted to practical concepts for waste treatment in Power Plant Třebovice. At the beginning of this chapter is given terminology used in Power Plant Třebovice, as well as a diagram of the process of waste management, creation and classification of waste and in particular the obligation to employees of individual departments and organizational units in waste management included putting marking assembly points and categories of waste included waste records.
