Abstract

In this work, the reader learns about the effectiveness of wastewater treatment plants in the Polish village Łężyca. The first section describes the technology of wastewater treatment in Łężyca. The next section describes the characteristic of indicators of water - theoretically and statistically. The third section is devoted to methods for evaluating the effectiveness of wastewater treatment – i.e. the removal efficiency of nitrogen, organic pollution and suspended solids. The last chapter is devoted to biological and chemical factors that may affect the efficiency of wastewater treatment plants. At the conclusion of the work is included in the overall evaluation of the efficiency of wastewater treatment and design solutions to the problem of biological factors that influence its effectiveness.
