Srovnání vybraných finančních trhů ve středoevropském regionu

Abstract

This bachelor thesis has focused on the issue of the financial markets. The aim of the thesis is to compare selected financial ratios among financial markets of selected countries within the EU, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Austria. Theoretically, it is described organization of the financial markets and its main segments. It was highlighted the importance of the stock market as well as government bond markets of selected countries. In the empirical part of the thesis it is compared the amounts of outstanding shares and debt securities, short-term as well as long term. Moreover, the risk premium of the bond market was counted as yields of ten years government bonds over the bond yields in Germany. After that it was worked with daily returns of representative stock indices. Through the correlation analysis it was concluded that development of both economic variables was uncorrelated because correlation coefficient is close to zero in period from 7/2016 to 6/2017.
