Analýza příčin vad a jejich prevence v oblasti nakupovaného zboží

Abstract

The present Thesis is focused on analyzing causes of faults and prevention of their occurrence within the scope of material purchasing. After analysis of material incoming inspection, it was found to be unsuficient. Therefore, the work was mainly focused on Incoming Inspection. The Thesis was performed with a company which produces replaceable cutting tips of hard metal and cutting tools dressed with hard metal. The Thesis analyzes six suppliers (present in 2010) with highest number of delivered products, which do no conform with the requested quality demands. Pareto analysis was applied to determinate the defects considered as the „important majority“. Next analysis showed ratio of non-compliant units per batch and determination of a strategic supplier (A-supplier). Implementation of statistical acceptance inspection might be a solution for this problem. A step-by-step realization for Pramet Tools, s.r.o. was offered and a trial operation was performed. It was also suggested to improve communication and to increase engagement of respecive suppliers.
