Abstract
This Master thesis deals with problems of selection and adaptation of employees. Goal of the work is to find out what system is currently used in the selection and adaptation of employees in construction companies.
The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is focused on the basic theoretical background on the basis of literature. Characteristic of the selected company is located at the end of this section. In practical part I describe the current attitude to the process of selection and adaptation of employees. Furthermore, in the questionnaire survey I collected data for Technical-economic staff, taken last year, regarding to the process of their selection and adaptation. Whether it followed a process of adaptation and how they were satisfied with the various steps in these processes. Based on this analysis, I propose recommendations to improve the system in place.
