Multiple-attribute choice of shares in China

Abstract

This thesis provides approaches to apply multi-attribute decision-making methods (MADM) to evaluate the product design alternatives with respect to the customer preferences and designer preferences. The goal of the thesis is to compare e-commerce stock products of China from four different companies with the MADM method and choose the best product which can indemnify the investor's profit at a reasonable price. We focus on five simplified methods that can be easily applied in excel, which are the weighted sum method (WSM), weighted product method (WPM), analytic hierarchy method (AHP), VIKOR method, and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution method (TOPSIS).
