Analýza městské hromadné dopravy v krajských městech České republiky

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the selected transport companies in regional cities of the Czech Republic in 2014 - 2018. It deals with the evaluation of their activities and economy, focusing on operational, performance and economic criteria such as: line length, the size of fleet, productivity of drivers, the number of passengers carried, compensation for the provided public service, revenues from public transport or the costs. Four methods were used to find and explain the findings, patterns and achievement of the set goal: comparison, descriptive analysis, synthesis and allocation. At the end of the work are suggested possible improvement recommendations for the three transport companies with the worst results.
