Abstract

The focus of the work is the optimization of logistic costs in the company. The goal is to find a solution that will help Moneta Money Bank, a.s. to minimize overall logistic costs associated with cash handling in the company. We seek suitable solution to the economic situation of Moneta Money Bank, a.s.. We will therefore take into account the company's ability to invest in new technologies, taking into account the current economic performance and return of such solutions. We have analyzed the logistic process in the company and with knowledge of the methods of calculating safety stock to achieve certain logistic services quality. We calculate limits for alternative cash flow management in the enterprise. We also examine the possibility of using existing software offered by companies specialized in the planning of cash flow for banks and other financial companies. Result of the design of new planning system for transports cash at branches is possible saving 265 317,60CZK. The alternative possibility is using the scheduling software can bring saving 1 275 047,00CZK. The conclusion of this work is the recommendation for Moneta Money Bank, a.s. to use the solution of scheduling software. This solution will optimize processes associated with cash flows in the company with a total predicted saving of 18.44% of the budget for the cash handling in the company.
