Zhodnocení slévárenských technologií pro výrobu brzdových třmenů pro automobilový průmysl

Abstract

The master thesis deals with the evolution of brake caliper production technologies as a component in the automotive industry. The theoretical part describes the basic properties of aluminium, its alloys represented in the foundry industry, the infuence of alloying elements on the properties of these alloys and metallurgical operations used to modify the structure. The chapters on the brake caliper, its division and function in the car are described in detail. Attention is also dealed to different types of materiál and methods of brake caliper production. The theoretical part ends with the introduction of the company Brembo s.r.o, focusing on the history of this company and the introducition of its branch in Ostrava. The experimental part was made in cooperation with Brembo s.r.o. Following the issue of technology comparasion, the production proces in the company was first decribed. Based on the production process and the company’s internal data, the indiviual brake caliper production technologies were evaluated.
