Viditeľnosť objektov na komunikáciach v noci

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis was to determine and compare the visibility of objects in the night-time traffic area under different types of truck´s low-beam headlamps and two sources of luminaires on public lighting. The theoretical part describes vision in a night-traffic space, road lighting, and parameters affecting the visibility of obstacles on roads. The last section of theoretical part deals with the requirements of low-beam headlamps. The empirical part describes the model, which has been modified in Dialux 4.13. Further, it shows the calculated illuminance differences of vertical obstacles at a height of one metre at various distances between two street lighting columns. The subsequent results are evaluated in the conclusion.
