Abstract

The main aim of the thesis is proposal of a new way of stocking in company ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Karviná a.s. Theoretical part is focused on the description of term logistics, kinds of warehouses and their functions. One chapter of theoretical part describes stock information technology. Practical part is focused directly on the stocking in company. The first chapter concentrates on characteristic of company ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Karviná a.s. In other parties there are economical indicators, organization chart and description of company´s assortment. Next part describes current way of stocking with main disadvantages. In the last chapter there are some new proposals of stocking which should improve current situation in the company.
