Abstract

In my diploma work I deal with possibilities of remote sensing of our planet. These were used mainly for meteorology and communication technologies needs until last years. However, it is not possible to extinguish forest fire from Earth orbits. So, in the second part of my work I use some experience and information from Lisbon meeting 2007 in Portugal to show how it is possible to fight forest fires by using preventative and repressive procuration.
