Determinanty inflace v ekonomice České republiky

Abstract

In today's global economy, inflation has come under supervision of all European´s central banks. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the inflation determinants and to determine the magnitude of their influence through regression analysis. The analysis is carried out for the economy of the Czech Republic for the period from 2000 to 2017. The second chapter defines inflation and describes a basic overview of empirical work which, along with the inflation reports of the Czech National Bank, forms the basis for choosing suitable inflation determinants in the practical part of the thesis. The third chapter explains in detail the econometric method according to which the influence of the chosen determinant on the Czech inflation will be analyzed. In the fourth chapter there is a regression analysis, the results of which are statistically, econometrically and economically verified. Inflation determinants were analyzed and their influence on the rate of inflation in the Czech Republic was determined.
